BY YOGA! I just got back from yoga. It was the first time I had actually gone to a class (as opposed to using videos) and it was awesome! At the end I was ready to go to bed! I want to do bedtime yoga every night!
Here’s something else — I didn’t make dinner, I had leftovers from last night. I noticed that when I make dinner I am much more satisfied with whatever I eat. Tonight I ate leftovers and then searched the kitchen for something more — ugh! You will see what I chose later…
SHOOT ME! (to the food!)
B-fast! Was delectable. Chia seeds, oats, almonds, honey, cinnamon, and dried crans.
Snack number one — again with the yogurt. I’m not a huge fan…but I’ll eat it because it’s healthy. Celery as a spoon — after this I also had a half of a red pepper. Ahh, the caviar of veggies!
For the record…I enjoyed the honey and yogurt from yesterday much better — the apples added a nice sweetness as well. Blueberry + yogurt + celery = meh.
Lunch was this amaz-a-balls salad! Yesterday I tried grapefruit for the first time — yes, ’twas a day of firsts. I didn’t like it, but saved the grapefruit thinking I would find some way to use it. And today it was transformed into some amazing acidity for my salad! In it was the following:
Romain, spinach, grapefruit, the other half of the red pepper from snack, cilantro, and the leftover been and tomato mixture from Sunday’s sweet potato dinner. Leftovers! Boom!
Snack two: banana, peanut butter, and granola sandwich! Always a good pick-me-up after a long day. However, I would have liked to eat it before a run — had I planned ahead and known I was definitely doing yoga I probably would have eaten fruit and nuts.
