It was a massively lazy Saturday…I got some things together for Valentine’s Day then tried to go running. My schedule called for a 3.5 mile jaunt, which I planned to do on the indoor track at my gym. However, on the way to the gym traffic was so terrible that I turned around and went home. I know, I know, I should just grow up and deal with the traffic, but I seriously could NOT. It was as though an alien force came over me and needed me out of the traffic immediately. I had to obey — so I went home, took a HOT shower, and then ordered chinese food. Which I didn’t get a picture of. Let’s suffice it to say that it was just one of those days.
I did however get b-fast and snack/lunch? I don’t know what I consider that second “meal” that I ate…here it is:
B-FAST! Phyn wanted my oats REALLY badly. Can you blame him? They had hot cinnamon apples, chia seeds, crasins, almond butter, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. Basically I threw in everything in the cupboard! YUM!
Then I did some Valentine-y things. Then I found myself craving some choco-shakeology! BOOM!
Shakeology never photographs very well. It’s basically just a choco milkshake — but full of everything you could need for the day!
Then I laid around some more — putting off my run, of course (what was I thinking? I enjoy running — I just wasn’t feeling it today!)
Then I entered Eating Bird Food’s Kaia Food’s Keep It Simple Giveaway! This stuff looks amazing! Especially the buckwheat granola and fruit leathers — I’m not gonna lie, I hope I win!
What’s that? The door knocker? Who could it be? BOOM! Flowers and care baskets from mom and dad! With my all-time- favorite flowers — Stargazer lilies! Who can deny their amazingness?
Sorry for the blurry pictures — I find myself saying that more and more — I think I’m just not super at picture-taking! HA!
AAAAAnd the care basket! It’s full of all types of goodies! Lays, Cheetos, Snickers, Planter’s Nuts, Pop-Secret, Coke, Lance Peanut Butter Crackers, Hershey Bars, and Cheez-Its! I’m not going to pull any punches here — The Cheetos are already in my belly, and the Snickers will probably be next!
Thanks mom and dad! Happy Early Valentine’s Day everyone!
