Cookie Dough Fail — Or Is It A WIN!?

Wow, today was good.

We got a delivery of cookie dough from a fundraiser the kids did.  And you know I bought some, and it wound up in my mailbox today.  More on that later though.

Breakfast was great!  Pear with cinnamon, sandwich thin with almond butter and strawberries — still the greatest combination of toast and fruit on the planet!

I also had fancy, EYEtalian coffee with Almond Breeze.

Really, I got the almond milk to make green monsters with, but it works just super-ly in my coffee too!

First snack was delish fruit.  Kiwi and melon.

Lunch was leftover pineapple quinoa stir-fry over wilted spinach.  It started like this:

And ended like this. ATE!

Quinoa, I totally owned you.

Here comes the fun part.  I brought pears for second snack.  But instead I ate this:

Hello M&M cookie dough.

What started out looking like this (note, only one bite taken out of it):

Changed to this (over the span of a couple of hours):

Yes, I ate the top of Cookie Dough Mountain.  And not even with a spoon.  I dug in with my grubby, kindergarten-covered fingers.  Without a doubt, this cookie dough is MINE.  All the germs will cook out once it’s cooked, right?  That’s IF it makes it all the way to the oven, that is.

To the tune of “I Love Technology”:

I love cookie dough

not just plain cookie dough

M&M cookie dough!

Good times and happy weekend, friends!

  1. Oh man, now I want cookie dough 🙂 I don’t think you can have a cookie dough fail. It’s too delicious to be a fail.

You have no REAL idea what is in that “stuff.” Please do not eat any more of it…………………….. signed ‘your mother’

  4. bwahahaha, I am loving the mental image of you man-handling the cookie dough.

A woman after my own heart.
