I’m Whitney. I like to workout, I like to eat, and I like to teach kindergarten. I have started this blog after blogging for a little bit on tumblr — but I thought I’d try wordpress now! I’m going to be blogging about the delicious food I make, the workouts I do — running and a little bit of yoga with some kickboxing thrown in — and other things that might happen in my life. I have a husband named Kellen and a dog named Phyn. They aren’t always into my healthy eating but neither says a word when I bring home new things to try. I love them.
I’ve been fairly active most of my life. I ran cross country, indoor, and outdoor track all through high school and started kickboxing after college. College was sort of a waste (physically speaking) for me — I worked it out if the mood struck, which wasn’t very often. I only recently realized the impact the foods that I choose has on my day-to-day life. Admittedly, I’m still not super healthy (as you’ll see) but it’s a journey and I’m learning about new foods all the time! Please know that although I read a lot on healthy living, I am in no way an expert! I get tons of ideas from fellow bloggers — I just love this community! 🙂
Maybe you can get at least a little positivity or motivation out of my posts! I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them!
