Oh My Goodness this b-fast was crazy delicious! Buckwheat pancakes with chopped almonds, honey, and bananas! Holy Moly! I wish that I could make little bits of these pancakes to send it out to all of you!
Then I drank some green with lemon grass! Very good — I drank a lot of tea today — you’ll see!
My pre-whole foods snack. Kellen wanted to commandeer it!
Whole Foods was totally packed! I dislike crowds and this turned me off a bit.
Lunch time! The final portion of my Friday chinese food. Only the steamed veggies are left! I just love spicy garlic sauce!
Afternoon snack! The chips and dip is what happens when you go to the grocery store hungry! Toward the end of the trip I was starved — the chips were pretty good, the dip was not so great. The tea was very good! Pomegranate green tea — no sweetener needed.
Dinner…was awesome! baked sweet potato split open and topped with a mixture of tomatoes and black beans, seasoned with cinnamon, chili powder, and cumin. They were topped off with sour cream and cilantro. I added chia seeds to the top of mine as well. It was my first time trying them — I give them a thumbs up! Go Chia Seeds!
After dinner tea was Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea. I love it because it makes me feel warm inside and sleepy! If it’s simply a placebo effect — I don’t care! I love it anyway!
